PROGRESS MADE IN THE RAIN IN THE CENTRAL STREETS OF THESSALONIKI DOZENS OF CYCLISTS AND PEDESTRIANS, MEMBERS OF THE MOVEMENT "PASSENGERS THESSALONIKI", COMPLAIN ABOUT THE INCREASE IN TICKET PRICES.
The path of cyclists began the statue of Eleftherios Venizelos at 11.30 am and reached through street in New Town of Thessaloniki. There cyclists waited hundreds of pedestrians team. From there, pedestrians and cyclists went through the avenue Army offices OASTH Papanastasiou Street. Protesters held banners with slogans such as "Government and OASTH, take back the hike," "free transportation, free education . " The march-protest "Passenger Thessaloniki" ended with the protesters to go up against teams in OASTH buses heading towards the city center. The protesters called on citizens to refuse to increase ticket and participate in protest movements. In context of the information events "Passengers Thessaloniki", in cooperation with the organization "GreenAttack" initiative and "Freebus", held Saturday evening in the social center-Immigrants-open discussion event during which there was information on the action in recent years similar movements in other countries citizens (UK, Ireland, France, Italy etc.).
