Vertical mercury has fallen in most areas of central and western Macedonia.
In some places especially in mountain snowfall occurred in the lowlands and heavy rainfall observed phenomena.Because of snow, snow chains required vehicles moving from Kastoria to Florina through Vigla and Vitsi.
