Approximately 100 children were injured when trampled to elementary school in Xinjiang in northwest China, reported the Chinese news agency.
The agency reported that the accident occurred in the autonomous region Aksou of Sintzian. In the area inhabited mainly by Turkish speaking Muslims.
Students descended the stairs of the school's gym class, when some of them died as a result and lure others, local official explained.
Children who were injured were transferred to hospital urgently. Until now there has been no death. This school has 1,800 students.
Last Monday, 351 people died a tragic death in Phnom Penh when a suspension bridge were trampled.
