TOXIC FISH IN THE AEGEAN




Lagokefaloi - giants have colonized the Aegean. 
hazardous - toxic - fish first appeared in Rhodes in 2003 and quickly spread, reaching even to the North Aegean.


Lately caught lagokefaloi arriving even five pounds weight andthe one meter long. According to scientists, this is the apodeixitis rapid spread and dominance over other species in Greek waters. Until recently, lagokefaloi who were caught with nets the fishermen did not exceed 200 grams and had a length of about 12cm. But just yesterday, Leros the angler Nick Kastis lagokefalo caught weighing 3 kg and length 60 cm, and said, "immediately threw it all now know that the fish is dangerous and can even cause death to anyone who eats.
